OUR TOBACCO

Nicaragua is located in the Center of Central America, between Costa Rica and Honduras, enjoys having wonderful lands for agriculture, currently the tobacco producing areas are in the departments of Estilí and Nueva Segovia (more than 80 percent of production). Another zone, but in smaller proportion is the Island of Ometepe. During the last For 5 years, tobacco exports in Nicaragua have grown very fast due to to the quality with which the product is manufactured.

Nicaragua has a privileged position in the world, since it is one of the few nations that have coasts on both sides that works as a narrow bridge that joins the Atlantic Ocean with Pacific Ocean, which facilitates the construction of ports, as well as the exploitation of tourism on its beautiful beaches. Our itsmo is also a strategic point of terrestrial communication being the union between North America with South America.
