The majority of the products that we export are cultivated by our own people, they are workers, humble and simple, that take advantage of the fertile propertites that characterized the Nicaraguan soil.

Their fundamental economic activity is agriculture. Most of the population lives from cultivating the soil, the most important crops are coffee, sugar cane, cacaco, banana, cotton, sesame, corn and basic grains others basic grains of national consumption such as: beans, rice, vegetables and fruits. Many Nicaraguans work in the informal economy, they are dedicated to the trading of products in the small scale in bus stops, ambulant sellers, shops and markets.
